One week till Christmas...

As the date gets closer, my excitement increases. Been a crazy busy weekend full of...excitement. It's ok though come this weekend things will all be right. I have a social/busy week this week, hanging out with my girl and some friends. I have to find a few days to get a little work done and to finish my Christmas shopping. Only thing left is stocking stuffers. I can't wait. I know I keep saying it but it's my favorite time of the year. ps. The pic below is from Christmas '07 at Disney World.

The Holidays are coming...

It's a shame that it has taken me so long to write on here. I've had a great couple of weeks. Not this past weekend but the previous weekend I went up to the mountains, to a small town called Grand Lake with a few of my friends including my girl. It was a nice little get away. A mini escape from the real world.

Then Thanksgiving. Last week at work was a cake walk, things were pretty slow around the office which was a nice departure. Wednseday night was great, I had an impromptu get together where we nerded it up with some good old fashioned rockband playing. Thursday I got up early and drove down to Colorado Springs where I spent the day with some family and some good food. After a nap I drove back home to I could get up bright and early and brave the crowds of Black Friday. It was a crazy scene but I was able to get some good deals and take home a few treats. Friday night consisted of Thuy and I meeting Lee, Lynn, Chris, and a few other people from work, for a delightful evening of Holiday fun, as we watched the lighting of downtown Littleton. The rest of the weekend was spent relaxing and getting ready for life to start back up again.

After a wonderful couple of days off it was back to work today. Woke up late, but eventually got to work and it ended up not being that bad of a day. So tonight I'm decorating my Christmas Tree with Thuy. Christmas time is here and boy am I jumping head first.

I am a Death Bringer....

So I rolled a DK last night, thanks much to init_5for getting my main to 55 to allow this roll. I just hit 57, and can't wait to finish the initial quest line to finally get myself to Outlands. A very interesting series of quest for the early life of a Death Knight has you doing everything from killing innocent civilians, to secretly sneaking behind enemy lines, almost instantly killing 100 plus soldiers of the Scarlet Crusade. The quest line really gets you involved in the story of your character and makes you feel like an integral part of the Liche Kings army. Blizzard really did it right with the Death Knight.

The horizon is dark with rising smoke and haze. I catch myself, on to business. I run with my head down, risking myself to better the group. I run into the open, grabbing my most effective tool, the wood splinters around me. I'm short of breath, is that the fear or the run. Do I dig in or run back to safety, back to the group. If I fall will there be someone to lift me up, will there be a hand. My chances of survival here are slim, but my position is vital. I release fire from the sky getting hits. I'm out. I run to safety, I'm red but not down. Two at the door, one mid, and one high. I take my position watching the door. The ever present horde approach's. I force it down, tightening my grip. This is our last chance of survival. We are the only one's left.

A good weekend!

Well this weekend was a good one. Friday night like I said, I geeked it up playing Gears all night. Saturday I slept in woke up and pretty much spent the entirety of the day helping Tye decorate for the Halloween party, we had people rising from the grave, thunder and lightning, and spiderwebs everywhere. The Halloween party went pretty well without any real issues to speak of, we did have a plumbing malfunction thanks to Tye's drunken obsession to clean and stuff hundreds of orange peels down the drain. I'm hoping the blackmail pictures of my costume will stay off of the internet, although I'm sure it's only a matter of time. Yesterday I attempted to clean a little and lounged around all day in bed with great company. It was the perfect Sunday, the type of day Sunday's are meant for. Last night I played a little Gears, ok...so a lot of Gears, and my sleep suffered because of it. It's ok, getting to lvl 37 on Horde was well worth it, with an excellent group. And today is Monday. Weekends like that make Monday's hard. Oh well makes next weekend look even more appealing!

So today is E day the second coming, a rough day of work, teetering with anticipation led to a lucky apprehension of a Collectors Edition of Gears of War 2. I spent the night truly delving into my geekism and spent a friday night alone in my basement playing Gears with friends. The night flew by, as familiar feelings returned with the thrill of victory and the bitterness of defeat. It is time for me to retire as my sleep this week has been limited. Good night all and my heart is with the COG soldiers fighting the valiant fight!

Yesterday was Stevenote Day(aka Macworld), and overall I was pleasantly surprised. I was glad to get a few things for free in the way of software updates which seem like they will greatly enhance my already owned products. The ultra portable Macbook was finally released by the name of Macbook Air. Although form factor wise it is very impressive, in my opinion very overpriced for the specs. 80GB 4200rpm hard drive? Anyway, glad be be connected again and in touch, until next time, rent a HD movie from iTunes or something to pass the time.

As I said in my last post, Monday November 26th was the premiere of The Escaped. It was a success with about 15 to 20 people there. I actually kind of felt like a somebody, granted most everyone there were participants of the movie, or very close friends. After coming off of that high, I figured, I might as well keep the ball rolling, so Tuesday, I finished the pilot for Oh Wait! She's Married! The sit-com based on myself, and my friends, and there relationship experience. Far to often are we saying our lives should be a sit-com. Well now they will be. Filming will begin in 3 weeks, after at least two scripts are written. George, is writing the second script as we speak. Last night we had a production meeting and came up with a tentative schedule for our up coming projects. More to come on that later, but let me just say, this next year is going to be a busy one for Trivision Pictures(our production company). After the meeting, Eric and George treated me to a ride through beautiful Christmas lights, in downtown littleton(the pic above). I'll keep you posted on the production of Oh Wait! Stay tuned, if your lucky you'll get a sneak peak at the first episode right here, in the following month's.

After a long week of good food and good company it's back to the grind. I'm not exactly excited to start work tomorrow, but so it goes. I'm sitting back in my comfy love sac watching Elf. I'm getting excited about Christmas, listening to Christmas music, and planning on setting up the tree one night this week. I even got a Christmas scented candle to set the mood. Tomorrow evening is the premiere of The Escaped, and that is one thing I'm excited about for manic monday. It seems like we are going to have a crowd of people there to watch. Hopefully it won't be our first and only premiere. I'm trying to be here for a friend, and I'm praying for him. Hopefully every things going to be ok. That's enough for me, time for beddy by, I will be falling a sleep to Christmas music. Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone. Oh and PS-If interested see below.

Way, way to long...

Wow, it's been way to long since I've posted. Not that it really matters because I think I'm the only one that comes here, but that's perfectly alright by me. This is the first weekend in about 2 month's that I've actually had time to myself, and nothing really to do. The last two week's have been crunch time for "The Escaped", and I've literally edited every night for 2+ hours. Never thought I would ever get sick of something I love doing, well I was proven wrong. The Movie went up Friday night at The Asylum, and was taken well. I even received a comment on youtube the next day from someone in line that night telling me how much they liked it. There are still a few minor change's which need to be made but all in all I think it was a success. Exciting to imagine our possibilities and the things to come! So now I can finally nerd it up and start playing a little H3, because we all no I <3 Cortana! Oh and ps-Enjoy the festive theme.
